Student Solve 2026- Educator Registration
Register for this event by October 23rd.
Join us for Student Solve: a 4-hour virtual ideathon that runs as an in-school field trip. Students have a chance to apply the skills they’ve learned in their Applied Learning classroom working in teams to tackle a real problem from a local company, alongside professionals.
Participation requirements:
- Open to the educators of the following Applied Learning programs: PLTW Launch (grades 4-5), PLTW Gateway, PLTW HS Biomedical Science, PLTW HS Computer Science, PLTW Engineering, and OpenSciEd
- Up to two classrooms per program from your school may participate
- Event is designed for 4-5 teams of students/ classrooms; students working individually may not participate
Other important things to note:
- Student Solve takes place on Zoom; we will send a Zoom link closer to the event
- You must be able to access/share work via Google Suite and have at least two devices that can be connected to Zoom
- Please complete one registration form per classroom. Up to two classrooms per program (e.g., PLTW HS Engineering, PLTW HS Biomed, OpenSciEd) from your school may participate.
- There will be 2 prep webinars available for sign-up when you register for Solve (note: they are the same content, please choose 1!):
- Tuesday, November 10th at 9:00am
- Tuesday, November 10th at 3:30pm
- PLTW teachers, please note there is a roster requirement: all PLTW classes participating in Solve must be rostered through myPLTW
