Application for 2024-2025 Cohort

The One8 Applied Learning Leadership Institute will create a community of practice collectively focused on expanding high quality Applied Learning. The Institute will provide support and resources to enable school leadership teams to implement Applied Learning practices more broadly by taking teams through a process whereby they identify a problem of practice and work through cycles of designing, piloting, and iterating on a set of strategies that respond to the problem. In addition, team members will participate in two school visits designed to spur creativity and new thinking. Leaders should expect to spend 7-8 days out of their school buildings over the course of the 2024-2025 school year, including two days over the summer.

As part of the Institute, schools will be eligible for $5,000 to pilot the strategies they identify in response to their problems of practice.

Eligibility: Teams from public middle and high schools that have active PBLWorks/PBLNow, OpenSciEd, and/or Project Lead The Way programs in the 2024-2025 school year are eligible to apply.
