Massachusetts PLTW Sustainability Grant
Opportunity for Current PLTW Programming
We applaud the efforts of educators who are continuing to prioritize the needs of students during this difficult time. Given the impact of COVID-19 on educational budgets, sustainability funding may be available to assist your school in supporting your PLTW programming. Sustainability grants can provide one-time, partial funding for FY22 fees and consumables, as well as teacher training given unexpected staff changes. Schools will be required to meet certain eligibility criteria and will be subject to grant requirements. Schools interested in funding are encouraged to submit their applications by April 16, 2021.

Grants are available for schools in Massachusetts to implement high-quality project based learning with PBLWorks. The first Massachusetts PBLWorks School Leader Network will begin in February 2021, and will help school leaders create ideal conditions for PBL to thrive in their school, and train teachers to implement high quality projects to accelerate learning. The School Leader Network is a multi-year program that provides the deep levels of professional development to school leaders and teachers and the support needed for high-quality implementation – through face-to-face workshops, virtual coaching, and a peer network of local PBL leaders.
The grant deadline for this first cohort has passed, but the PBLWorks team would be happy to connect and discuss opportunities for bringing project based learning to your school.
